The Cherry Trio — Elizabeth Gaver (violin), Penny Hanna (viola da gamba) and Michael Peterson (harpsichord) offers a toast to the new year with “Partita Time” on January 1st, 2019, at 3:00 p.m.

After the fireworks, but before the wine! Featuring some of the finest composers of the Baroque era, this year’s concert also highlights some lesser-knowns, including fire-y Vivaces and Arisoso variations by Buxtehude, a sparkling assortment of French dances by Senaillé, a sizzling sonata by Krieger, The Grape-pickers of Monguichet and the mysterious Le Dalican by Caix d’Herevois, along with the incomparable J.S. Bach’s Partita No. 2
