Join The Cherry Trio (Elizabeth Gaver, baroque violin; Penny Hanna, viola da gamba; Michael Peterson, harpsichord) to ring in the New Year with German music from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries! The program includes works by J.S.Bach for viola da gamba and harpsichord, as well as a Norwegian dance tune based on one of his melodies. In addition, the trio will play sonatas by Krieger and Buxtehude, both with solo melody lines for the viol as well as the violin. Please join us after the concert for a reception.
