The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts will be stop #38 on the Monterey County Artists Open Studio Tour on September 29th and 30th, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This free tour is a self-guided journey of artist studios and exhibition spaces throughout Carmel and the Carmel Valley. The tour will extend to Salinas, Salinas Valley, and North & South County locations on October 6th and 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year, participating artists include Peter Hiller (numerous art mediums); Carole Pavlo (sculpture, painting, etching); Tim Dale Hill (photography and watercolor); and Christine Watten (painting, ceramics and glass).

The public is invited to the Tour Gala Kick-off on Friday, September 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Walter Lee Avery Gallery of Seaside City Hall, 440 Harcourt Avenue, Seaside. The public can meet participating tour artists and view an exhibition of their works; and enjoy food, beverage, and music. There is no fee to attend. A tour exhibition will run from September 10 through October 25 at the Avery Gallery, open to public viewing Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
