Evenings with Birdsong
Two avian performances at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts
Join two of Australia’s most adventurous musicians, Simone Slattery (violin, vocals, PhD, Churchill Fellow) and Anthony Albrecht (cello, The Juilliard School), for a pair of avian-inspired concert events at the Carl Cherry Center, described by critics as “spectacular.”
The Bowerbird Collective produces multimedia works that tell conservation stories, with the aim of strengthening emotional connections to the natural world. They tour extensively, with a focus on performing in regional areas, deliver exceptional educational outreach opportunities to school age children, and work with national and international conservation organizations to explore nature through the arts.
