Soapbox Stageworks Presents Winter One Acts, four brand new plays performed on four different nights:
Thursday, March 20th, Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22 and 29. The house opens at 6:30 for pre-show libations. Performances start at 7pm. Tickets are, $35, available on Eventbrite.com. 10% of all proceeds will go to the Carmel Youth Center
Each performance will feature the following plays:
“Ruby” by Donald Luftus – An afternoon on the Thames River takes a turn.
“Forward Pass” by Lawson Caldwell – It’s 1969 after the Stonewall riots in NYC. Two mothers in a small southern town must defend their sons.
“Lenny and Jenny” by Mike Byham – An intense situation makes two people realize things aren’t always as they seem. Trigger alert for language and violence.
“A Winter’s Eve” by Karen Devaney – During a snowstorm in a small cabin, a couple attempt to get their marriage back on track. The secrets revealed may destroy them for good.
