The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts announces “Porchlight Stories,” a live spoken-word storytelling series that brings together authentic personal narrative by members of the Monterey County community.
Everyone has a story to tell. We want to hear yours! At Porchlight Stories, each participant will share a five to seven-minute true story about themselves performed from memory and centered on a transition, a turning point when something real was at stake and the outcome truly mattered.
Submissions close Saturday, April 25th. Select storytellers will be invited to perform May 14th on the Cherry stage. For detailed guidelines and entry information, please use this LINK.
