The Old Lost Cows will perform Friday, April 7th at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, Carmel. The group is led by trail boss Dixie Dixon, and features bard Taelen Thomas, guitar picker Steve Mortensen, Smilin’ Jane on banjo, Dave Sweigert on mandolin, and Richard Rosen on campfire harmonica. They will present a mixture of oral tradition, western swing, blues and folk music by Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Gene Autry, Bob Wills, and more. Performance starts at 7:30 p.m.

Prior to the performance will be an artist reception for the opening of “Nothing but Blue Skies,” an exploration of the American West and cowboy culture through art and photography. The reception will be held in the gallery from 5:00-7:00p.m. and is open to the public. 

Please be sure to cowboy up and ride along for this fun evening.
