Tragedy, comedy, or contemporary culture?  It makes no difference to the Monterey Comedy Improv, who perform 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th, at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, Carmel.

The troupe will take suggestions from the audience on a wide range of subjects to create a series of scenes and skits using whatever props are at hand. Scenes might include star-crossed lovers, sword fights, turkeys, politicians, rhyming couplets, disguises, and asides from the audience.

Monterey Comedy Improv  have gained quite a bit of notoriety as the only troupe on the Central Coast to perform short form improvisational theater.  The show typically features plenty of audience participation, so be sure to leave your inhibitions at the door!
