When you think of memorable jazz tunes, their composers and lyricists don’t always readily come to mind. Over a series of concerts, one of the Peninsula’s favorite pianists, Bob Phillips, has been taking us on a musical tour highlighting luminaries whose works have become mainstays in the world of jazz. Bob’s third and final concert on this journey will feature the works of famed lyricist, Johnny Mercer. Highly talented vocalist and stage performer Malinda DeRouen, and special guest vocalist Lee Durley, will be joining Bob for what is sure to be another outstanding Jazz At The Cherry production.
Sunday, May 4th at 2pm. Doors open at 1:30 for wine and light fare included in the ticket price. Tickets are $45, available on Eventbrite.com.
