“Cabaret by the Sea” presents award-winning cabaret singer Barbara Brussell returning to The Cherry with an original new show, “This Moment.”  Two nights only: 7:00PM on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th.   Ms. Brussell will be accompanied by musical director George Peterson.

 In This Moment, Barbara explores her impressions and passions, past and present, selecting “any song that tells my story,  from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, or contemporary songwriters known and un-known.” The show honors singers and songwriting friends of Brussell’s, including the title song written by John Wallowitch. Other tributes will include singer-actresses Julie Wilson and Claiborne Cary, lyricist Ron Miller, composer Michael “Mickey” Leonard,  and a nod of recognition to Mary Martin, Mary Cleere Haran and the recently late-great Barbara Cook.
