SUMMARY:Thinking Out Loud - Monterey County High School Student Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Thinking Out Loud\, our annual  Monterey County high school student art exhibition\, opens Saturday\, March 2nd\, with an artist reception from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Cherry Center’s gallery on Fourth and Guadalupe\, Carmel. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibit can be seen through March 23rd\, 2019\, during regular gallery hours: Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\, Saturday noon to 4:00 p.m.\, or by appointment. \nThis program is made possible in part through grants from the Arts Council for Monterey County\, and funding from the Monterey County Board of Supervisors\, Community Foundation for Monterey County\, Pebble Beach Company Foundation\, Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation\, Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary\, Volunteer Services for Monterey County\, and Yellow Brick Road Benefit Store. \nPhoto above: Laura Flores Romero\n\nOne hundred area students participated in last year’s exhibit\, displaying works across a wide variety of media. \n“Well Lived” Raven Cook\, Youth Arts Collective \n“Til DEATH” Martin Aguirre\, Everett Alvarez HIgh School \n“Panther Grouper”Matthew Brady\, Monterey High School \n“Bloom” Jaia Linden Engel\, Carmel High School
