DESCRIPTION:Fools Rush In \nThe Carl Cherry Center is pleased to announce the launch of our Jazz at the Cherry series. Our inaugural performance will feature The Biff Smith Quartet. \nMembers of The Biff Smith Quartet (Biff Smith\, Piano; Brian Stock\, trumpet and flugelhorn; Heath Proskin\, bass; Patrick Tregenza\, drums) have performed at many local and national jazz venues\, including the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Big Sur Jazz Festival. Since 1998 they have been celebrating the spirit of hard-bop\, a seminal movement of 50s and 60s jazz. SUMMARY:Love\, Loss & What I Wore AUDITIONS
DESCRIPTION:The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts and Off the Rack Production are pleased to announce the revival of LOVE\, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE\, a play about the challenges of the heart–and the closet.  The play opens Friday\, May 20th and continues through June 12th. \nEvery item in a woman’s closet holds a memory. Some are sweet\, some are funny\, and some are oh\, so sad. Written by Nora and Delia Ephron\, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman\, and directed by Michael Bond\, LOVE\, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE is a sweet and saucy collection of life-changing stories triggered by memories of specific accessories or articles of clothing. \nAuditions for the play will be held at the Cherry Center on\nSaturday\, April 2nd at 2pm + Monday\, April 4 at 7pm\n \nWe are looking for 5 women in their 30’s and older.  The 5 women play a total of 30 parts.\n \nIf you are interested in auditioning\, please call Michael at (831) 643-9331 or send an email to bonded1@gmail.com to arrange an audition time.
