SUMMARY:Ukulele Melee - A Celebration of the Uke!
DESCRIPTION:Ukulele Melee is a celebration of  the world’s friendliest four-string instrument: the uke! The event will feature performances by local musicians Ukulele Dick\, Steve Mortensen and Dixie Dixon\, Sandor Nagyszalanczy and Karen Lehman\, Bruce and Pamela Forman\, and the Haole Harmony Trio. There’ll also be a special guest (or two)\, audience sing alongs and more. It promises to be a fun afternoon for all ukulele fans that’s not to be missed!\n\nSandor Nagyszalanczy \n\n\nThe original Ukulele Melee was created about 15 years ago by Dixie Dixon as a celebration to honor the legacy of her husband Daniel Dixon\, a noted local author and musician. The 2025 Ukulele Melee continues this popular celebration for a new generation of ukulele players and enthusiasts. \nSaturday\, August 9th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $30\, available on Eventbrite.com. \n\n
