SUMMARY:2022 Thinking Out Loud Regional Art Competition
DESCRIPTION:The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts is proud to announce the 2022 Thinking Out Loud\, a regional art competition that challenges high school students to create works inspired by their lives. This year\, the students’ artwork will exhibit in our gallery and online March 5- 26\, 2022. \nSEE THIS YEAR’S WINNING ENTRIES \nPictured: “South of the Border” – Anthony Miguel\, Stevenson School (2021 Thinking Out Loud First Place winner) \n\nEstablished in 1948\, the mission of the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts is to enhance the quality and diversity of artistic\, educational and cultural programs in Monterey County by encouraging public programs and interactions between artists and the community. \nThinking Out Loud is made possible\, in part\, through a grant from the Arts Council for Monterey County\, and funds from the Hazen Family Foundation\, Monterey County Board of Supervisors\, Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary\, Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation\, Pebble Beach Company Foundation\, and the Yellow Brick Road Benefit Store.
