DESCRIPTION:For twenty-six years\, the Robert Campbell Monterey County High School Poetry Awards program has provided hundreds of students an opportunity to learn the craft of poetry. A reading and awards ceremony honoring this year’s student poets was held Saturday\, May 16th\, on Zoom. Thank you to all the students\, teachers\, family and friends who joined us on the call. \nThe poetry awards were made possible by grants from the Arts Council for Monterey County\, Monterey County Board of Supervisors\, Community Foundation for Monterey County\, Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation\, Pebble Beach Company Foundation\, Monterey Peninsula Foundation\, Volunteer Services for Monterey County\, Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary\, and Yellow Brick Road Benefit Store. \nPlease click the document link below to read the award winning poems for 2020.
