Ukulele Melee is a celebration of  the world’s friendliest instrument. The event will feature performances by local musicians Steve Mortensen and Dixie Dixon, Pammy Forman, Sandor Nagyszalanczy and Karen Lehman, the Haole Harmony Trio, as well as Michael Wynia, and SF Bay area musical luminaries Steven Strauss and Greg Pratt.

The original Ukulele Melee was created about 15 years ago by Dixie Dixon as a celebration to honor the legacy of her husband Daniel Dixon, a noted local author and musician. After an absence of nearly ten years, the 2024 Ukulele Melee has revived this popular celebration for a new generation of ukulele players and enthusiasts.
