The Carl Cherry Center’s next exhibition, You’d Be Prettier if You Smiled: Identity, Gender and Dissonance, opens Friday, October 19th, with an artists’ reception from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public. For this exhibit, Gail Enns selected works by the Temple Sisters, Susan Abbott Martin, and Maria Porges that open an important conversation about the enduring struggle women face in contemporary society.
