This series follows last spring’s popular presentation of feature films which came to life from their origins as short stories. Join us for an in-depth examination of six compelling marriages of story and film across a broad spectrum of genres, thematically linked with questions of illusion, reality, imagination and point of view. In addition to the analysis of the films, we will explore the adaptation from print to screen and the connectedness between the two. To enhance our comparison, we will also read the stories before viewing the films.
